Working at height 

Falls from height are one of the main causes of death and serious injuries on construction sites.
We can reduce the risk by following the simple hierarchy of control when working at height:

★Avoid working at height if possible Use work equipment and other measures to prevent falls

★Minimize the distance to fall including airbags and safety nets

★Use personal fall protective equipment

Prior to working at height operatives should follow these simple rules

★All work at height must be properly planned

★All person working at height must be trained

★All equipment used must be fit for purpose

★All work at height takes account of the weather

★All risk from falling objects are properly controlled

★All work areas at height are safe

★All work areas at height inspected daily before use

★All emergency should be in place.
