Confined Spaces Ventilation
Blower
When it feels like there’s no room to breathe in your
workplace, the proper confined space ventilation equipment, from axial air
blowers to fans, can make all the difference.
Whether you’re securing sewer systems or piecing together pipeline, any small area can be a threat to your respiratory health through close-range particulates and a lack of adequate ventilation.
Positioning an axial blower or confined space fan in tight spots brings a rush of fresh air to your work environment.
Here you’ll find some of the most compact designs around, so adding a piece to your equipment set is easy.
Make any confined space safe and airy with this selection of ventilation equipment, axial air blowers, and fans.

Why Need ventilation?
Confined Spaces why ventilation of a confined space may be
necessary.
An employee may not enter the space until the forced air ventilation has eliminated any hazardous atmosphere". So if a gas detector indicates there is an atmospheric hazard, no entry is permitted.

The reasons for this should be obvious. An elevated level of
oxygen can be highly explosive. Elevated levels of carbon monoxide or hydrogen
sulfide are deadly. And, of course, decreased levels of oxygen are deadly.
When any of these conditions are present, ventilation of the
confined space is required.
In fact, OSHA states, "The forced air ventilation shall be so directed as to ventilate the immediate areas where an employee is or will be present within the space and shall continue until all employees have left the space".
